Mooring Bristol Docks
'Pill Hobblers Marine Services Ltd' provides mooring and unmooring services to vessels berthing and sailing to and from the Royal Portbury Docks and Avonmouth. We also cover the Bristol City docks, as and when the need arises. The ports, themselves, are well established and are involved in the imports of coal and LPG, grain and gypsum, plus the import and export of cars and containers.
The Bristol Port Company is creating a deep water berthing container terminal facility at Avonmouth, thereby enhancing its role as a gateway container port for the UK and an onward shipping point for the Atlantic seaboard and Europe.

Oil Spill Response Service
Additionally, 'Pill Hobblers' supply skilled men to 'Braemar Howells Ltd', the emergency oil spill response service provider for the 'The Bristol Port Company'. 'Pill Hobblers' employees are trained to maintain and operate equipment and undergo regular refresher training courses.

Other Services
Our other services include :-
All our employees either hold or are working towards their boatmasters certificate or hold their RYA (Royal Yachting Association) powerboat level 2 licence.
All employees are licensed VHF and DSC radio operators.
All employees are trained first aiders and have completed a 'Fire fighting at sea' and RYA 'Sea Survival' courses.
We can provide crew for various roles, relief dredging crew and crew for barges entering and leaving both ports.
We are able to provide HGV 1 & 2 drivers.
We can also provide fully licensed operators for 'Fork lifts', 'telescopic arm and cherry pickers', 'front end loaders' and '360 slew' plant.
